Job summary

You will work with the NPD Head Chef to develop seasonal menus for travel clients, ensure recipes scale for production, manage costs and collaborate with suppliers, production teams and commercial colleagues. This role blends cooking skill with detailed planning and hands-on kitchen leadership.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience as a chef.
• Experience in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
• Ability to work from very specific briefs.
• Passionate about food and cooking with strong culinary knowledge.
• Eye for detail and good organisational skills.
• Good communication and teamwork.
• Computer literacy in MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the NPD Head Chef to create seasonal menu propositions for travel clients.
• Ensure recipes can be produced at medium to large scale with consistency.
• Optimise ingredients and procedures to minimise human error.
• Work with local suppliers to source fresh ingredients.
• Assist with typing up recipes and costings as required.
• Monitor trends and develop recipes aligned with customer demands.
• Maintain development of new and existing quality products with customers.
• Support product launches within current operation capabilities.
• Define and monitor processes to comply with health and regulatory requirements.
• Work with production, procurement, technical and commercial teams.
