Job summary

Emmi Desserts UK in Maidenhead seeks a Junior Development Chef to help create and deliver high-quality dessert products. You will work with the NPD Lead to convert kitchen concepts into factory-ready recipes and prepare samples for internal and customer reviews.

Key duties include assisting recipe development, maintaining accurate records, and supporting benchmarking, shelf-life testing, and quality assessments while collaborating with Technical, Production and Commercial teams.

We are looking for a Junior Development Chef to support the creation and delivery of high-quality dessert products. You will work alongside the NPD Lead, helping to develop recipes,, prepare customer samples and turn kitchen concepts into factory-ready products.

What you will be doing:

• Supporting the Development Chef to create and refine dessert products.
• Assisting with recipe development and kitchen trials
• Preparing samples for internal reviews, customer presentations and submissions.
• Maintaining accurate recipes, process information and trial records.
• Supporting competitor benchmarking, shelf-life testing and quality assessments.
• Working closely with Technical, Production and Commercial teams.
• Following health and safety, food safety, hygiene and allergen standards.
