Junior DevOps Engineer

The Role:

We are looking for a Junior DevOps Engineer to support the development and live operations of an exciting new immersive XR product, built natively with Kotlin.

This is an opportunity to join a world-class engineering team and learn from industry-leading experts in XR and real-time systems. You’ll work closely under the guidance of our DevOps Lead, gaining hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, test automation, performance monitoring, and live operations for a fan-facing product.

This is a live product—not content delivery—so automated testing, performance, and reliability are key focuses of the role.

What You’ll Do:
  • Support and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Kotlin-based XR applications and backend services supplying video and data streams.

  • Implement and maintain unit tests, integration tests, and automated testing pipelines to ensure product stability

  • Assist with cloud infrastructure management (AWS, GCP, or similar)

  • Help optimize release processes and contribute to automated deployment workflows

  • Support monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure live product performance

  • Collaborate with QA and Engineering teams to maintain high-quality builds

  • Participate in live operations support, including release readiness and incident response

  • Continuously learn and apply best practices in DevOps, testing, and XR infrastructure

Nice to Have:
  • Familiarity with AR/VR/XR application development
  • Experience supporting live consumer products

  • Experience with gRPC services

  • Experience with video streaming technologies

What You Will Bring:
  • 1–3 years of experience (or equivalent training) in DevOps, QA Automation, or Software Engineering
  • Experience working with Kotlin-based products or Android-based platforms

  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Bitbucket Pipelines, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI,, Jenkins, or similar)

  • Exposure to automated unit testing and integration testing

  • Understanding of cloud services (AWS, GCP, or Azure)

  • Understanding of web technologies and networking

  • Familiarity with containerization (Docker)

  • Basic scripting skills (Bash, Python, or similar)

  • Strong interest in XR technologies and supporting live immersive experiences

  • Eagerness to learn, a collaborative spirit, and attention to detail
