THE ROLE

About The Role

Joining our Growth team at Havas Media Network, this is an exciting opportunity for a Junior Designer to contribute to our diverse range of projects. Under the guidance of our Creative Director, and reporting into our Senior Designer, you will assist in crafting compelling designs for presentations, marketing materials, pitch collateral, events and social media assets. This role offers hands-on experience in supporting our marketing and new business initiatives across all agency brands within the network.

On the 6 month programme, you’ll be involved in:

• Creative Presentation Design
• Assist in developing visually appealing PowerPoint presentations to effectively convey ideas and information.
• Ensure branding consistency and cohesive design elements in all presentations.
• Learn to apply content to templated presentation assets and contribute to template development.
• Editorial Layout, Marketing Assets & Social Media
• Contribute to designing marketing assets such as brochures, posters, and social media graphics.
• Participate in creating innovative layouts for various printed and digital marketing collateral.
• Support the marketing team in generating engaging content for social media platforms.
• Design Support for Client Pitches and Events
• Collaborate on designs for corporate events, incorporating branding elements seamlessly.
• Assist in creating designs for agency pitches, including print assets and presentations.
• Conducting visual research and image search functions to support pitch and marketing assets.
• Learn to develop brands and design systems to support project requirements.
• General Responsibilities
• Conduct quality checks to ensure design accuracy and alignment with brand guidelines.
• Assist in managing multiple tasks and projects to meet deadlines.
• Engage in all stages of the creative process, from interpreting briefs to delivering final creative assets.
  
  

Qualifications

WE ARE LOOKING FOR A PLATFORMER WITH:

• Relevant design qualification or working experience suitable for this level.
• Strong understanding of visual design principles, typesetting, colour theory and layout.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  
  

Skills & Experience

• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong skills in Photoshop, Illustrator & InDesign.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft 365 suite – particularly PowerPoint.
• Attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
• Enthusiasm for learning and contributing to creative projects.
  
  

Desirable Skills (but Not Essential)

• Understanding of designing and implementing microsites within Squarespace.
• Working knowledge of creating/uploading/managing social media template assets within Canva
  
  

Team Collaboration

• Work effectively within a multi-disciplinary marketing team.
• Openness to mentorship and learning opportunities.
• Foster a trusting and professional relationship with stakeholders.
