Job summary

Shoreside Maritime Recruitment is seeking a Junior Designer for a London design studio specialising in luxury superyacht projects. You will transform initial concepts into refined designs and accurate 3D models, working closely with senior designers to balance creative vision with technical execution.

The role focuses on exterior and interior concepts, collaboration across the team, and preparing files for rendering and engineering; strong Rhino 3D is essential, along with an eye for luxury

Qualifications

• Ability to read technical drawings and translate complex curves accurately.
• 1–2 years of studio experience preferred, exceptional graduates considered.
• Strong visual and spatial understanding with an eye for luxury proportions.

Responsibilities

• Develop clean, production-ready 3D models and design iterations from 2D sketches, GA drawings, and reference data.
• Assist in generating initial design concepts, layouts, and visual presentations.
• Maintain strict organisational standards for complex file structures, layers, and naming conventions.
• Collaborate across the team to ensure aesthetic intent aligns with structural constraints.
• Prepare and optimize files for rendering, rapid prototyping, and engineering teams.
