Job summary

Turner Duckworth in London is hiring a Junior Designer to join the team and contribute to distinctive brand identities, packaging and activations. You will collaborate with senior designers to develop concepts and craft across print, digital and environmental formats, bringing thoughtful typography and color to life.

You will learn from experienced designers and creative directors, build your skills in a collaborative studio, and contribute to projects while growing your craft in a hybrid work

Qualifications

• Portfolio demonstrating creativity, craft and attention to detail, esp. identity/packaging/branding.
• Proficiency with Adobe Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop.
• Clear communication and ability to contribute in a team.

Responsibilities

• Create visual identity, packaging and brand activation work across projects.
• Turn concepts into print, digital and environmental design.
• Develop presentations, mock-ups and visual storytelling.
• Collaborate with designers and cross-functional colleagues to deliver high-quality work.

Overview

It’s an opportunity to build your skills in a collaborative studio where strong thinking, meaningful relationships and effective design matter.

What you'll be doing:

• Create visual identity, packaging and brand activation work across a variety of projects.
• Turn creative concepts into carefully crafted design across print, digital and environmental formats.
• Develop presentations, mock-ups and visual storytelling that bring ideas to life.
• Collaborate with designers, creative directors and cross-functional colleagues to deliver high-quality work.
• Maintain accuracy, quality and consistency throughout your design outputs.
• Prepare artwork for production and work with suppliers and external collaborators when needed.
• Explore design trends, cultural influences and new approaches to brand communication, bringing your perspective into team conversations.

Skills we're looking for:

• A portfolio that demonstrates creativity, craft and attention to detail, with identity, packaging or branding work particularly relevant.
• Confidence using Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop.
• An eye for colour, typography, composition and the details that make design feel considered.
• The ability to communicate clearly and contribute effectively within a collaborative team.
• Curiosity and adaptability, with an openness to learning and developing your craft.
• A constructive approach to feedback and a willingness to explore different solutions.
• Motion, 3D or After Effects knowledge is welcome, but not essential.
