Midweight Delivery Manager (12-Month Fixed-Term Contract) - GBP35,000

Location: Bath (Hybrid, with occasional office visits)

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Midweight Delivery Manager to join our dynamic team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role is perfect for someone with a passion for delivering client-focused projects in a fast-paced environment, managing tactical day-to-day projects valued between GBP20k and GBP50k.

About the Role

As a Midweight Delivery Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful delivery of projects by overseeing governance, client communications, team collaboration, resourcing, and basic commercial tasks. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, leveraging Agile methodologies to drive predictable and repeatable project success.

Key Responsibilities

1. Manage the day-to-day delivery of projects, ensuring adherence to scope, budget, quality, and timelines.
2. Facilitate Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, retrospectives, and workshops) to foster team collaboration and continuous improvement.
3. Coordinate with stakeholders to maintain clear communication, produce status reports, and manage risks and dependencies.
4. Support project initiation, discovery, implementation, and closure activities using standardized tools and templates.
5. Ensure robust project governance, including RAID logs, burndown charts, and milestone trackers.
6. Collaborate with teams to deliver pre-go-live testing, launch readiness, and post-implementation reviews.

Essential Requirements

1. 2-5 years of experience in a client-focused delivery role (e.g., Project Manager, Delivery Manager, or Account Manager).
2. Strong understanding of Agile and Lean delivery practices, with the flexibility to adapt to Waterfall or hybrid models.
3. Experience with delivery tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, Confluence, or Smartsheets.
4. Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with excellent organizational skills.
5. Strong stakeholder engagement, reporting, and risk management skills.
6. Excellent written and verbal communication with high attention to detail.
