Codi Group is hiring a Junior Data Engineer in the UK. The role involves building and maintaining data pipelines using Microsoft Azure and Databricks, moving data from operational systems into the central data warehouse, and ensuring data is accurate and ready for reporting.

You will develop your SQL and Python skills, learn data modelling and best practices while working in a supportive team environment. The position is permanent, full-time with a 9-day fortnight option via agile working.

Qualifications

• SQL proficiency and ability to work with data to deliver practical solutions.
• Python programming experience and data engineering practices would be advantageous.
• Interest in data and willingness to learn in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Move data from operational systems into the central data warehouse.
• Extract, clean, transform and model data for reporting and analysis.
• Develop data and analytics solutions and automate manual processes.
• Conduct testing, resolve issues and document technical designs.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the business to ensure data is secure and accessible.
