Job summary

SR2 REC LTD in London is seeking a junior Data Engineer to join a central government data programme. You will work with modern cloud technologies to build secure, scalable data platforms and gain exposure to Kafka, Terraform and Java.

This role is ideal for someone with a solid data engineering foundation who wants to grow technically, take on greater responsibility, and progress within a multi-year programme on AWS-based data solutions.

We're looking for enthusiastic Data Engineers to join a large-scale data and analytics programme, working with modern cloud technologies and helping to build secure, scalable data platforms.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a solid foundation in data engineering who wants to develop their technical skills, take on greater responsibility and gain exposure to technologies including Kafka, Terraform and Java.

Due to the nature of the roles, active SC clearance is required.

You don't need to be an expert in every technology. The team is happy to support cross-training and upskilling for candidates who demonstrate strong engineering fundamentals, a willingness to learn and the ambition to progress.
