Job summary

Searchability NS&D is seeking a hands-on Data Engineer in Bristol for a hybrid role. You will build scalable data platforms, pipelines and services using Python, AWS and modern data tooling.

You’ll implement batch and streaming ETL/ELT processes and drive DataOps practices across production environments. The role requires strong Python development, cloud engineering in AWS/Azure, and experience with Terraform/IaC, Git and CI/CD.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with Python development and data-focused solutions.
• Hands-on AWS experience and cloud engineering practices.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployments.
• Strong background in ETL/ELT, data pipelines and data transformation.
• Familiarity with Terraform or other IaC tools.
• Testing and validation of data services in production environments.

• Deliver batch, streaming, ETL/ELT and data transformation solutions.
