  • Zynk is a UK-based technology company specializing in data integration and automation. Their platform helps thousands of small and mid-sized businesses streamline their operations by connecting ecommerce platforms, CRMs, and accounting systems—such as Sage, Xero, WooCommerce, Shopify, Salesforce and more. They’re passionate about helping businesses reduce manual work, eliminate data silos, and build efficient, automated workflows. With a team of developers, data specialists, and product thinkers, they’re building tools that solve real-world problems every day.

They are seeking a curious, hands-on Data Analyst Apprentice to join their growing team. This role is ideal for someone looking to start their career in data and technology while learning a wide range of technical skills on the job.

As an apprentice at Zynk, you’ll be involved in all aspects of IT operations—from analysing and transforming customer data to testing software workflows, updating documentation, supporting internal systems, and writing Python scripts. You'll work across their product stack (Zynk Cloud, Zynk Workflow), helping deliver reliable, high-quality solutions for their customers.

A Typical Day in the Job:

    • Data Analysis & Reporting: Collecting, cleaning, and transforming data; producing meaningful reports and dashboards; identifying trends, anomalies, or errors in datasets and providing insights.
    • Scripting & Automation: Writing and editing Python scripts to process and move data between systems; building reusable data workflows in the Zynk platform; supporting the integration of APIs and third-party services.
    • QA, Testing & Documentation: Testing and validating data workflows; writing and executing test cases; documenting bugs; maintaining and updating product documentation.
    • IT Support & Systems Admin: Assisting with internal IT tasks such as file management, user onboarding, and system troubleshooting.
    • Project & Customer Support: Supporting consultants and developers in delivering customer projects; communicating findings clearly to both technical and non-technical team members.

Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the Baltic team.

    Salary & Hours

    • £16,000-£18,000 per annum depening on age and experience
    • Working Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm

    Training & Development

This is a formal apprenticeship programme (typically 15–18 months), which includes:

    • Industry-recognised training with an external learning provider.
    • A dedicated mentor within the Zynk team.
    • Study time built into your work schedule.
    • Hands-on experience with real-world customer projects and platforms.
    • Exposure to a wide range of technologies across the ecommerce and SaaS ecosystem.
    • Supportive, flexible and remote-friendly work environment.

    • A genuine interest in technology, data, and problem-solving.
    • Proactive and organised, with strong attention to detail.

    • Comfortable working independently and as part of a remote-first team.

Nice to Have (but not essential):
