Junior Data Analyst
Location: Mereworth, Maidstone
Employment Type: Full-Time

An independent digital transformation & cloud migration consultancy focusing on the full end-to-end transformation journey. We work with customers to capture visibility across their current environments, document the processes needed to transform their environments and execute the migration.

Job Summary:
As a Junior Data Analyst, you will be responsible for collecting, analysing, and interpreting data to provide meaningful insights that will drive informed business decisions. You will work closely with Senior Consultants and other cross-functional teams to enhance data quality, reporting processes, and contribute to the continuous improvement of data-driven strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collect, clean, and preprocess data from various sources to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  2. Create reports based on data extracted from client environments.
  3. Assist in the development of data analysis tools and models.
  4. Conduct exploratory data analysis in client environments.
  5. Generate reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate findings to clients.
  6. Attend client interviews and extract information for tooling.
  7. Collaborate with wider team to design and implement data-driven solutions.
  8. Actively seek trends in client data to assist in migrations.

Qualifications and Skills:

  1. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related discipline is desirable.
  2. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  3. A good understanding of core IT principles.
  4. Strong Excel knowledge and hands-on experience (pivot tables, v-lookups).
  5. Knowledge of ETL processes.
  6. Good communication skills and the ability to convey complex data findings in a clear and understandable manner both internally and to clients.
  7. Detail-oriented with a passion for working with data.
  8. Ability to work collaboratively in a team and take direction from senior analysts.
