About The Role

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Data Platform Analyst to support the maintenance, monitoring, and optimisation of our data platforms. As a Junior Data Platform Analyst, you will work closely with cross-functional teams including Data Engineering, BI, and IT to support the smooth functioning of our modern data system.

Role: Junior Data Platform Analyst

Location: Blackburn, BB1 2FA

Hours: Full-Time / Permanent

Salary: £26,000

Bonus Scheme: Bonus Incentive

What You'll Be Doing

• Monitoring data pipelines and troubleshooting issues to ensure seamless data flow.
• Writing and optimizing SQL queries and implementing data quality checks.
• Participating in data modeling and schema design.
• Collaborating with analysts and BI teams to align interfaces and pipelines with business needs.
• Assisting data engineers in maintaining data pipelines and infrastructure.
• Supporting BI tools, dashboards, and analytics platforms such as Power BI, Looker, or Tableau.
• Generating reports on platform usage, cost, and performance metrics.
• Managing user access, security controls, and documentation.
