QinetiQ in Farnborough is seeking a Junior Cyber Security Engineer to join a team that develops and applies configuration security tools and monitoring for infrastructure. You will review security events, identify root causes, and contribute to reducing vulnerabilities while working on-site at Farnborough.
Day-to-day work includes reviewing SIEM data, health checks, and producing weekly/monthly security reports.

As a Junior Cyber Security Engineer, you will work in a team that supports design, development & application of configuration security tools and monitoring for infrastructure.
Day-to-day, you'll review and investigate security events to identify root cause and required responses to reduce and mitigate any vulnerabilities.

This role is 37 hours per week based at our Farnborough site and is fully on-site.
