Job summary

Elite People Ltd. in Birmingham is seeking a Junior Controls/PLC Engineer to join the team and build a career in automated control systems.

You will gain hands-on experience with PLCs, HMI and SCADA, while working on both modern and legacy equipment. Training, mentoring and opportunities to progress are provided.

You will focus on fault-finding, commissioning and improving equipment reliability, with a structured development plan and support from senior engineers.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Electrical or Maintenance Engineering.
• Interest in PLCs, controls and automation.
• Practical, problem-solving mindset.
• Keen to learn, develop and progress their engineering career.
• Experience with PLCs, electrical fault-finding, control panels or maintenance engineering is advantageous.

JUNIOR CONTROLS/PLC ENGINEER

£30,000 – £40,000 per annum

You’ll receive hands-on training and mentoring, gaining practical experience across control system projects, fault-finding and commissioning.
