Junior Controls Engineer | £30,000 + Training & Development
Field-Based Role - Expect to be Out on the Road and Staying Away from Home

Are you eager to kickstart your career in control systems and automation? Here's a fantastic opportunity to join a growing engineering company offering hands-on training and real-world experience to develop you into a skilled Controls Engineer.

About the Role:

You'll spend approximately 70% of your time on site, working on diverse projects across multiple locations, with the remaining 30% based in the office or working from home. This blend ensures you gain valuable practical experience while receiving support and training from experienced engineers.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Assisting with programming and commissioning Building Management Systems (BMS) and control systems

  • Helping install and modify control panels both in the workshop and on-site

  • Learning to integrate control systems with electrical, mechanical, and irrigation systems, including Modbus, Bacnet, and Canbus protocols

  • Providing technical support to engineers and customers

  • Supporting system testing and ongoing maintenance to ensure reliability

  • A genuine interest in control systems, automation, or electrical engineering

  • Some prior experience or relevant qualifications (college, apprenticeship, or practical work) in electrical or control engineering
