Control System Engineer (1-3 years experience) | South Yorkshire (hybrid)

Package: up to £26k base + overtime + private medical + life assurance + fees paid for professional registration + generous learning and development budget to support further learning

We are recruiting for a junior control system engineer to join a busy projects team at a control system integrator.

You should have at least 1 year of experience working with PLCs / electrical design, and be possibly partway through an apprenticeship or feeling limited in a graduate role.

This medium-sized control system integration business has established partnerships with local authorities, multinational corporations, and niche companies, and is involved in innovative R&D projects, including a new AR/VR control system for aerospace applications.

The company supports engineers' development, with many achieving chartership while employed there. Career pathways include application engineering, design engineering, service/commissioning, and project management. They have a successful history of training junior engineers into competent control engineers with multi-vendor experience, many of whom now hold leadership roles.
