Job description

The Junior Content Producer will join a growing team to project manage independently day to day on creative content shoots and editorial for Film and TV marketing campaigns. Working on premium productions throughout the UK and EU, they will act as a direct client contact across a range of international clients on particular projects and support senior producers on select larger scale productions. They will manage their own workload, being able to both lead and support on multiple projects simultaneously, involving a mix of days on-set and in the office.


The Junior Content Producer, working with both clients and in support of the senior producers, will manage internal resources and external shoot crew to ensure the delivery of the project is on time, on budget and of the highest creative quality.

What you will do…

  • Support the senior producers to produce and project manage exceptional content for marketing campaigns from client briefing stage through to project delivery. Lead on select projects.
  • Work directly with the client and internal teams to shape positioning, messaging and target demographic, solving challenges from a strategic and tactical perspective.
  • Ensure on-set capture is strategic, thoughtful and intentional, keeping a particular eye out for social opportunities. Be guided by an ambition to create industry-leading content that challenges the status quo.
  • Actively manage on-set crew, briefing, checking in daily, reporting back to clients, uploading viewing proxies and attending shoots when necessary.
  • Support senior producers on larger special shoots.
  • Create and track production documents as needed including call sheets, risk assessments, and freelancer contracts.
  • Confident working knowledge of and ability to hire production crew and kit needed to achieve creative concepts.
  • Confident building and tracking production budgets and actuals, ensuring jobs are profitable, and billing clients upon completion.
  • Facilitate internal inter-disciplinary brainstorms and creative responses to start of production briefings and help support with content ideation and deck creation to share with clients.
  • Alongside the copy team, script concepts and EPK questions for talent and conduct select on-set interviews.
  • Have a good understanding of production and post-production workflows and materials for shoots and AV, especially in the theatrical and streaming space and excel at managing a large volume of footage in a high-speed, high-performance environment.
  • Confident working with editors, with senior support, to oversee the editorial on socials, featurettes, and additional content spots.
  • Support in the finishing and delivery of projects and be responsible for the quality control of all project assets supplied to clients.
  • Build a great black book of shoot contacts and actively seek out new and exciting technical crew to work with.

What we are looking for…

  • Shoot production experience is essential, either in content, commercials or broadcast.
  • Desire to work in the entertainment space and be an enthusiastic consumer of film and television is a must.
  • Production knowledge of cameras/lighting and other crew/equipment needs.
  • Experience interviewing talent is desirable but not essential.
  • Basic understanding of Avid and / or Premiere is desirable but not essential.
  • The ability to multitask in a busy environment and be responsive and calm in the face of shifting shoot requirements.
  • Fluent in production documents and paperwork.
