Role overview:

The Health Safety and Compliance Advisor will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and compliance of the organisation's properties, particularly in managing Legionella risks. Responsibilities include developing and implementing policies, monitoring compliance with health and safety legislation, managing key contractor relationships, contributing to service improvements, and reporting to senior leadership.

Role responsibilities:

• Manage Legionella risks and compliance areas, including gas, asbestos, and electrical safety.
• Act as the responsible person for compliance areas and provide specialist knowledge.
• Develop policies, procedures, and templates for effective compliance management.
• Monitor and manage contracts, ensuring timely and within-budget service delivery.
• Prepare and present reports for senior management, the Board, and residents.
• Conduct quality checks and manage service improvement plans.
• Foster strong relationships with contractors, ensuring health and safety best practices.

What you’re good at:

• Strong data analysis skills and experience managing databases or CRM systems.

• Ability to manage contracts, budgets, and deliver projects on time.
