Junior Commercial Gas Engineer - Glasgow - Salary up to £40,000
We are looking for a Junior Commercial Gas Engineer to join a leading facilities provider on a large static site, offering full training, mentorship, and career progression in a supportive environment.
This role will involve assisting experienced engineers with servicing, maintenance, and installation of commercial heating systems, providing hands-on experience to develop into a fully qualified commercial gas engineer.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the installation, servicing, and maintenance of commercial boilers, heating systems, and appliances.
Work alongside experienced engineers to gain on-the-job training and mentorship.
Carry out diagnostics and repairs under supervision, progressing to independent work.
Ensure compliance with gas safety regulations and health & safety guidelines.
Maintain accurate job records and complete relevant documentation.
Provide excellent customer service, working across various commercial sites.
Requirements:
Commercial Gas Qualifications
CODNCO1, CIGA1, CORT1, ICPN1
Previous experience in domestic or commercial gas engineering (advantageous).
Strong technical and problem-solving skills with a willingness to learn.
Full UK driving licence (required).
Good communication and teamwork skills.
