Job summary

VistaJet Ltd. is seeking a Junior Commercial Counsel to support the growth of Vista’s business across its products and brands, including VistaJet and XO. You will join an international Legal team in a dynamic, high‑growth company headquartered in Dubai with a global footprint.

The role requires at least 3 years in a similar legal capacity and a qualified lawyer admitted to practice in England & Wales. You will draft and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts and help drive efficiency

Qualifications

• Draft, review and edit commercial legal agreements including charter and flight service contracts, loyalty and referral programs, marketing and publicity agreements, website and app T&Cs, licenses, leases, vendor contracts, SLAs, MSAs, NDAs.

Responsibilities

We are looking for a multifaceted Junior Commercial Counsel to support the growth of Vista’s business across its multiple products and brands – including VistaJet and XO.

Your Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and edit commercial legal agreements (including charter and flight service contracts, loyalty and referral programs, marketing and publicity agreements, website and app T&Cs, licenses, leases, vendor contracts, SLAs, MSAs, NDAs, etc.)
• Negotiate agreements directly with third parties, including clients and their counsel.
• Develop a solid understanding of the company’s product and business goals.
• Develop and implement sound processes and procedures to drive efficiency.
• Lead cross-departmental projects from scoping to implementation.
• Build and nurture strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
• Help coordinate and triage team projects.
• Provide pragmatic, deal‑minded support and advice to a global business team.
• Review and approve customer‑facing marketing materials and communications.
• Assist with the global litigation portfolio (investigations, letters before action, cease & desists, e‑discovery, mediations, settlement and releases, etc.)
• Use and maintain the company’s document, template, and contract repositories.
• Prepare and present tailored training sessions as part of our in‑house training program.
• Monitor legal developments, conduct legal research, and advise leadership.
• Support a wide range of projects and teams on an as‑needed basis, from HR and Tax to Aircraft Maintenance and Operations.
• Other tasks as may be required.

Required Skills, Qualifications, and Experience

• Qualified attorney (solicitor or barrister/advocate) admitted to practice law in England & Wales.
• Minimum 3 years in a similar role and/or with relevant law firm experience.
• Demonstrable contract drafting and negotiating experience.
• Commercially minded dealmaker with a lawyer’s attention to detail.
• Capable project manager with a knack for pushing tasks forward efficiently.
• Highly communicative with a strong ‘soft skills’ set.
• Excellent interpersonal skills – able to translate legal matters to non‑legal audience.
• Process driven, but not dependent – able to think outside the box and tackle matters of first impression.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working directly with a sales team.
• Experience working in an international company / with an international client base.
• Exposure to commercial litigation, consumer law and contentious/non‑contentious employment law.
• Knowledge of – or interest in – aviation, luxury, or travel industries.
