Join Booker Group as a Commercial Finance Analyst, responsible for managing income and driving growth in a key category area. Work closely with Category Managers and Finance teams to ensure accuracy in reporting and enhance cash profit through commercial insights. You'll play a pivotal role in supporting decision-making processes while enjoying a range of employee benefits.
Reporting to a Commercial Finance Manager, you will be responsible in supporting the Commercial Finance team in proactivily managing income and driving growth in a category area. This role involves working closely with the Category Managers and Finance teams to ensure good understanding of both front and back income, reviewing all commercial income areas of the business.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify risks, spot opportunities, and deliver commercial insight
A proactive mindset with a focus on improving cash profit and commercial performance
A strong understanding of margin performance, commercial income, and supplier terms
Experience in managing or supporting financial reporting, including accuracy in accruals and entries
Confidence in dealing with supplier queries and ensuring timely resolution to support cash flow
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, particularly when working with Category Managers and wider finance teams
Ability to support and influence decision-making through variance analysis and performance reporting
Commitment to high standards of documentation, compliance, and adherence to GSCOP and audit requirements
A collaborative approach to supporting project work and continuous process improvement
A customer-focused attitude, delivering accurate work on time without compromising service quality
