Job summary

Warner Bros. Discovery is seeking a Junior Cloud Technology Engineer to join our Technology team.

This role offers exposure to AWS cloud services, automation, cybersecurity, data management, OTT streaming platforms, and software support, ideal for someone early in their tech career seeking broad experience. You will work closely with the Head of Technology Solutions & Security to support critical cloud infrastructure, internal users, and customer-facing apps.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a technical role with hands-on coding.
• Previous experience with React/Next.js, JavaScript or TypeScript, REST APIs, and modern web technologies.
• Familiarity with AWS services and source control tools such as Git.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, security best practices, and content protection concepts.
• Exposure to data migration or database projects and experience supporting SaaS, cloud, media, or streaming platforms.

Responsibilities

• Provide internal user support, manage user lifecycle, accounts and business apps.
• Monitor cloud apps, investigate issues, and assist updates and changes.
• Provide first-line support for digital streaming platforms and incidents.
• Assist data validation, quality checks, imports/exports, investigations.
• Use scripts and queries to troubleshoot and automate tasks.
• Follow cybersecurity and content protection procedures; document processes.
• Identify process improvements and gradually take on more responsibilities.

YourRoleAccountabilities…

• Provide technical support to internal users while supporting user lifecycle activities, account administration, and business applications.
• Support and monitor cloud-based applications and services, investigate technical issues, andassistwith application updates and system changes.
• Provide first-line support for digital streaming platforms, investigate customer issues,monitorplatform availability, and expedite customer-impacting incidents whenrequired.
• Assistwith routine data validation, data quality, imports, exports, and data-related investigations.
• Use simple scripts, database queries, and technical tools to investigate issues and help automate routine tasks.
• Follow established cybersecurity and content protection procedures whilemaintainingtechnical documentation and support materials.
• Identifyopportunities to improve processes and documentation and gradually take on greater responsibility as skills and experience develop.

Hybrid Working - This role is advertised as a Hybrid work model, that combines remote and in-office work, following our current company policy and to be agreed with your Line Manager.
