Job Summary
Guy's & St Thomas' Hospitals offer an exciting opportunity for a Fellowship in General Cardiology. This post is suitable for someone who wishes to obtain advanced training in Cardiology. The successful candidate will be responsible for contributing to both the inpatient and outpatient care of patients, on a full time basis, as part of a multidisciplinary team. The post will run for 6 months and possibility for extension.
Main duties of the job
Depending on the candidates preferences, there will also be opportunities for experience in advanced imaging (cardiac MRI and CT, advanced echo and nuclear imaging).
If suitably trained, the candidate will be offered the option to join the general cardiology SpR on call rota alongside 15 other SpRs.
As an organisation we are committed to developing our services in ways that best suit the needs of our patients. This means that some staff groups will increasingly be asked to work a more flexible shift pattern so that we can offer services in the evenings or at weekends.
