Sheffield Teaching Hospitals has an opportunity for three Junior Clinical Fellows at ST1 level to join the team starting in August 2025 (or sooner by mutual agreement). The posts are:
These posts do not award a National Training Number. However, these posts would be ideal for individuals considering pursuing a career in Respiratory Medicine or Diabetes and Endocrinology. These posts are suitable for candidates who have completed at least Foundation Training Programme or equivalent. 12 months NHS experience is essential of which at least 3 months needs to be in Medicine. Completion of MRCP (or components thereof) is desirable but not essential. The experience and skills obtained in the post would give candidates a clear advantage over competitors when it comes to applications for training posts in the future.
Main duties of the job
Your hours will mainly be M-F (0900-1700), with occasional 0830 starts to support the post-take ward round. There is no formal out of hours commitment, but shifts may be available to any interested candidate.
