An exciting opportunity to join the Regional Maxillofacial unit at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital as a junior clinical fellow on a fixed-term contract for 12 months. The unit provides specialized care for maxillofacial patients and collaborates closely with various surgical departments. This is an exciting opportunity to join the Regional Maxillofacial unit at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital on a fixed-term contract for 12 months.
The unit features dedicated inpatient operating theatres, outpatient treatment capacity, inpatient wards, ITU, and HDU, along with comprehensive support services for maxillofacial care. It is co-located with the children’s hospital and offers cleft and craniofacial services. The imaging facilities are excellent, with interventional radiology available. The outpatient department is supported by a maxillofacial technical laboratory, a dedicated photography department, and 3D imaging capabilities. The unit maintains close links with neurosurgery, oculoplastics, and ENT surgery departments.
This position is for a junior clinical fellow within the unit.

Applicants who have not completed a UK foundation programme within 3.5 years of the post start date will need to submit a Certificate of Readiness to Enter Specialty Training (CREST). The CREST must be completed by a consultant who has worked with the applicant for at least three months within the 3.5-year period prior to the start date.
