We are looking to appoint aJunior Clinical Fellow(FY2, IMT/ST1-2 equivalent) for 6 months with the opportunity to extend subject to approval.
This is an exciting post for clinicians interested in a career in medicine or oncology. The department has an excellent track record for core trainees successfully applying to oncology specialty training.
The post holder will also have the opportunity to develop quality improvement and audit projects during their placement. The department will provide mentorship and assistance in applications for medicine, oncology or palliative care as a career.

North Middlesex University Hospital is a busy District General Hospital based in Edmonton, North London. We have a busy Oncology service for a number of tumour sites offers multiple sub-speciality inpatient and outpatient care.
The Oncology Department at NMUH is staffed by both medical and clinical oncology consultants and has played a major role in the provision of Radiotherapy and Chemotherapy services to the North London Cancer Network for 75 years. It provides specialist expertise to the District General Hospitals at Princess Alexandra Hospitals (PAH) and Barnet / Chase Farm Hospital NHS Trust for over 25 years through joint Consultant appointments, outreach MDTs and Joint clinics in keeping with the Cancer plan and working with local teams to provide accredited cancer services. A full Acute Oncology Service was implemented in 2014.

· WorkalongsidetheCNSteamtoensurecontinuityofcareforpatients.
· Attendance in outpatient clinics with consultant supervision, particularly useful if pursuing acareerinoncology.
