Main duties of the jobApplications are invited for this fixed term 12 month appointment suitable for committed enthusiastic individuals wishing to gain experience and pursue a career in Dermatology. This post provides an exciting opportunity to be immersed in general dermatology and gain exposure to subspecialty dermatology through both in-patient and out-patient work. You will be fully supported by a team of dermatologists in training as well as consultant dermatologists and the wider multi-disciplinary dermatology teams.
About usIts primary role is the delivery of excellence in clinical service, education and training, research and development in Dermatology. These functions are undertaken in both clinical and academic settings. On the academic side the Institute offers two postgraduate degrees in Dermatology and makes an important contribution to the Biomedical School as part of the Division of Genetics and Molecular Medicine, GKT School of Medicine, King's College London.

The Dermatology Day Centre provides high quality care in state of the art facilities to adults with severe inflammatory and blistering skin disease and skin cancer especially cutaneous lymphoma and on-call patients with acute dermatoses.
As an organisation we are committed to developing our services in ways that best suit the needs of our patients. This means that some staff groups will increasingly be asked to work a more flexible shift pattern so that we can offer services in the evenings or at weekends.
