The Role

As a Junior Account Manager, you will manage your own portfolio, developing client relationships, supporting promotion, and identifying revenue opportunities. Your responsibilities include managing client communications, renewal negotiations, maintaining CRM records, and providing excellent service. This is an office-based role, primarily conducted via telephone, email, and virtual meetings, with occasional client visits. There is a clear career progression pathway up to Account Director.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  1. Manage a portfolio of EAP, intermediary, and Occupational Health clients with contracts under £3,000.
  2. Proactively manage client relationships to achieve retention and renewal targets.
  3. Handle renewal negotiations, aiming for a 95% retention rate.
  4. Deliver consultancy services, including onsite training and CISM.
  5. Identify up-sell opportunities and promote additional services, targeting £10,000 new business per quarter.
  6. Achieve three new client wins per quarter.
  7. Provide feedback to senior management on client needs and market trends.
  8. Maintain high standards of customer service and accurate reporting.

Requirements

  • Organized with excellent attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong communication skills, adaptable to different audiences.
  • Multi-tasking ability to meet targets and KPIs, including talk time, renewal rates, and call volume.
