Job summary

A major engineering consultancy is seeking a Junior Civil/Structural Engineer to join their site-focused design team in Bristol. You will assist with structural design updates and support the preparation of drawings/models collaborating with CAD/BIM teams. The ideal candidate will have a background in reinforced-concrete or steel structure design in complex project environments and will be expected to work in the Bristol office three days a week. This role focuses on delivering solutions for a highly regulated infrastructure project.

Qualifications

• Background in reinforced-concrete or steel structure design within a regulated or complex project environment.
• Ability to work in the Bristol office 3 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Assist with structural design updates for reinforced-concrete and steel elements.
• Support preparation and coordination of drawings/models with CAD/BIM teams.
• Help manage engineering changes and follow project QA processes.
• Contribute to responses for design queries and site issues.
• Liaise with senior engineers and design teams to resolve clarifications.
