The NICI Collection in Bournemouth is seeking a Junior Chef – Kitchen Team to join our busy kitchen. This is an ideal start for someone eager to learn, develop culinary skills and contribute to high quality service across our outlets.

You’ll work with a supportive team, follow recipes, assist with food prep, deliveries and stock management, while upholding food hygiene standards. We offer meals on duty, staff discounts and clear opportunities to progress within our growing hotel group.

Qualifications

• Enthusiastic about food and keen to learn.
• Basic understanding of food hygiene and kitchen safety.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Positive and hardworking attitude with good attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation across the kitchen.
• Help with the preparation and presentation of dishes.
• Follow recipes and instructions to ensure consistency.
• Support chefs during busy service periods.
• Keep your section clean, organised and ready for service.
• Assist with deliveries, stock rotation and storage.
• Maintain food safety, hygiene and allergen procedures.
• Learn new techniques and develop culinary knowledge.
