We have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Catering Supervisor to join our Catering Team at The London Clinic, based at our main hospital in London (W1G 6BW). We offer a competitive salary.

Established in 1932, The London Clinic is one of the UK’s largest private hospitals, featuring 8 state-of-the-art facilities, and approximately 1350 employees dedicated to providing expert, personalized treatment and care. Our hospital spans 8 floors with over 150 patient beds and 10 operating theatres, including a Hybrid theatre and two minimally invasive/day surgery theatres. Our specialties include General Surgery, ENT, Gynaecology, Hepatobiliary, Neuro-spinal, Ophthalmic, Orthopaedic, Plastic and Reconstructive, Robotic, Urology, Vascular, and Bariatric Surgery.

Job Profile

As a Junior Catering Supervisor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality food and beverage service to patients, staff, and visitors, ensuring high standards of hygiene and health & safety at all times.

You will follow instructions from your line managers, report and monitor departmental standards, and work collaboratively with other Catering Service Supervisors.

  • Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
  • Shift Pattern: 5 days out of 7, with flexible AM or PM shifts
  • Hours: 40 hours per week
Key Duties
  • Maintain cleanliness of all food service areas, ensuring cleaning schedules and HACCP checklists are completed.
  • Ensure the storage, preparation, and service of food and beverages comply with clinic policies and procedures.
  • Attend daily meetings/briefings as requested by the Catering Manager.
  • Regularly carry out hygiene inspections.
  • Be knowledgeable about menu offerings across all catering areas.
  • Ensure staff adhere to dress code, conduct, and personal hygiene standards as per clinic policies.
