Job description

Job Description:

What you’ll do:

With a passion for product and an affinity for tech, you’ll be assisting our business units to give market, product, competitor, and consumer insights across the EMEA markets. Through the gathering and analysis of data, you’ll support the Product Managers to transform these insights into engaging and informative sales tools. Working cross functionally with sales, marketing and product management you’ll drive efficiency, accuracy and build excellent lines of communication.

How you’ll do it:

  • Learn the Belkin difference, what makes us stand out from the crowd and be an advocate for quality and meaningful sustainability.
  • Transform product value propositions into inspiring product pitches supported with technology trends and channel guidance from the Product Manager so that Sales can confidently secure placements for new products.
  • Competitor reviews and research to benchmark Belkin products not just in price, but in creative execution and breadth of product portfolio.
  • Conduct market (GFK/Stackline/NPD/Statista) analysis on a regular cadence and assist in making educated forecasts of technology trends.
  • Manage the lifecycle process for run rate SKUs alongside the Product Managers, assessing sell through rates and SKU optimisation in partnership with Supply and Demand teams.
  • Maintain Product Management master files such as catalogues and presentations, as well as update cross functional tools like Monday.com, Workfront and Agile.
  • Support the NPI launch process by creating forecast documents, then reviewing input alongside the Product Manager and Demand Planner. Track the launch schedule communicating changes in timing or ship methods quickly and efficiently to relevant teams. Post launch evaluation for continuous improvement, working cross functionally to make changes if required.
  • Work with marketing and the product manager to build campaign briefs, proofread packaging and marketing materials to ensure key product/technology points are highlighted and information is correct.
  • Thoroughly test development samples and distribute final article samples to the sales regions, supporting product demonstrations for training if required.
  • Support Sales with technical product information for customer set ups.
  • Assist in the preparation of strategic business unit presentations, trade shows, customer meetings and business reviews.

What you’ll need:

  • Well-developed strategic and tactical business acumen, with clear understanding of key business drivers. Ideally commercial buying experience from a retail background.
  • Ability to write clear presentations and deliver them with confidence and enthusiasm.
  • Attention to detail without losing sight of the bigger picture.
  • Experience of data analysis and the using of data to tell a story.
  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to build relationships.
  • Proficient in Powerpoint and Excel.
  • Educated in product management/marketing/business.

What you’re getting into:

We’ve got big collaborative spaces for your big ideas, so bring an open mind and leave your suit in the closet. We all are committed to creating unique and rewarding consumer experiences. Everyone is interested in succeeding – for the team, for themselves and for the business. Cross-functionally and across the company, everyone has common goals and aspires to be their best.

You will learn something new or at least look at things differently every day. There are so many smart and creative people around that you’ll be motivated to pursue the ideal.

Team spirit is infectious. Belkin is an extremely open workplace, where communication is essential. Not every idea will be accepted, but you’ll be asked for your point of view. Innovation thrives on multiple and varied levels. At Belkin we challenge conventional wisdom and refuse to accept that something cannot be done.

Belkin is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer Disability and Veterans. We maintain a drug-free workplace.
