Job description

As a Junior Cardiac Physiologist, you will be expected to work competently within the Evelina London Children’s Hospital. Your duties will include both invasive and non-invasive cardiac investigations and providing adequate technical cover during the department’s normal working hours. Support will be provided to Cardiac Physiologists with a background in adult cardiology to undergo paediatric cardiology training.

Responsibilities include:

1. Supporting the paediatric cardiology outpatient department (OPD) by performing tests such as ECG and Holter monitor analysis, and assisting with the Exercise Tolerance Test (ETT) and Cardiopulmonary Exercise Testing (CPET) services for inpatients and outpatients.
2. Collaborating with the bookings team to ensure appointments are scheduled appropriately.
3. Performing housekeeping tasks, such as stock taking.
4. Gaining experience in the congenital cardiac catheter laboratory.
