Job description

We are always looking for exceptional individuals to join our multinational group of talented professionals and right now we are seeking to recruit a motivated and talented Junior Calibration Technician.

In this role, you will support the calibration, testing, and maintenance of measurement instruments and equipment, ensuring accuracy, reliability, and compliance with industry standards. Working within our dedicated calibration lab at our Dover Service Centre, you’ll gain hands-on experience under the guidance of senior technicians while contributing to the continuous improvement of calibration procedures aligned with ISO9001 and ISO17025 standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out calibrations on all Dover-manufactured instruments and selected products from other Megger sites.
  • Record calibration data accurately and maintain calibration certificates, including data entry into SAP.
  • Perform minor adjustments and repairs as required and support the repairs department when needed.
  • Provide support with internal plant equipment calibrations and technical/quality procedure updates.
  • Contribute to a tidy, compliant workspace by following 6S principles and assisting with housekeeping.

Experience, Skills & Qualifications

  • Electrical/electronics knowledge is desirable but not essential – full training provided!
  • Basic understanding of calibration procedures and policies.
  • Methodical and practical with good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • PC literate with a good working knowledge of Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and good troubleshooting skills.
