Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited in the UK is seeking a Junior CAD Technician with a Civils background to join a specialist design team working on sports surface layouts and related civil design tasks.

You will produce and develop technical drawings using AutoCAD and Civil 3D, contributing to drainage, earthworks and construction details across high-profile UK and international projects. Monday to Friday, 8:45am to 5pm, commutable to Bingley.

Qualifications

• CAD Technician or similar role with Civil background.
• Experience using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Friendly to high-profile sports facility projects.

Responsibilities

Are you a CAD Technician with a background in Civil projects. Civils 3D or similar, looking to develop your technical and design capabilities within a specialist sports design environment?

On offer is the opportunity to join a highly respected, forward-thinking design team delivering world-class sports surface and field-of-play projects across the UK and internationally. The company has worked on some of the world’s most prestigious sporting venues, including FIFA World Cup grounds, Wimbledon and Leeds United FC, giving you the opportunity to work on high-profile projects at the highest level of sport.

In this role, you will produce and develop technical drawings using AutoCAD and Civil 3D, working across sports surface layouts, drainage, earthworks, levels, general arrangements and construction details. You will work closely with Engineers, Project Managers and specialist Consultants, developing designs from initial concepts through to construction and seeing your work contribute to the delivery of professional sports facilities and elite sporting environments.

This role would suit a CAD Technician with a background in Civil Engineering or similar, looking for a varied position where you can develop your skills while working on high-profile sporting facilities.

The Role:

• Producing technical drawings using AutoCAD and Civil 3D


• Working across sports surface layouts, drainage, earthworks, levels and construction details


• Working alongside Engineers, Project Managers and specialist Consultants


• Developing designs from initial concepts through to construction


• Monday to Friday - 8:45am - 5pm

The Person:

• CAD Technician or similar


• Background in Civil Engineering, Construction, CAD or similar


• Experience using AutoCAD and Civil 3D


• Commutable to Bingley
