Junior CAD Technician (Safety Equipment)

Are you a keen designer with experience in AutoCAD looking to join a well-established company that is a trusted provider of safety equipment nationwide, offering progression and free onsite parking?

Are you looking for a role where you will be able to develop your 2D and 3D modelling skills and receive product training from a company that is known as a market leader in its field?

This company was established for 2 decades and since then has seen significant growth, now operating nationally. The company manufactures safety equipment used in a variety of industries, including the public and private sectors.

This role will see the suitable candidate expected to work in a team of 4 other designers to produce new drawings and modify existing work. The role includes both 2D drawing and 3D modelling and will occasionally involve travelling to client sites to collect data for projects.

The Role:

  • 8 - 4:30 Monday - Friday
  • Cohesively work in a team of 4 designers to move products from concept to manufactured stage
  • Work efficiently with other departments to ensure all products are created to accreditation standards
  • Create your own drawings and modify existing pieces
  • Render 2D and 3D models to provide insight for all involved in the manufacturing process

The Person:

  • Experience in a similar role
  • Experience with AutoCAD
