About the Role:

As a Junior CAD Technician, you will play a crucial role in assisting with the production of highway designs, including calculations, drawings, and specifications to relevant local and national standards. You will be responsible for preparing designs and drawings, liaising with utility providers, and gaining technical approvals from the Local Highway Authority. This position offers a dynamic and challenging environment, working through the feasibility, design, and construction stages of various highway schemes.

• Experience: Proven experience in highway design within a consultancy environment.

• Design and Implementation: Assist with the design and implementation of highway solutions for clients in the private and public sectors.
• Collaborative Relationships: Develop excellent and effective collaborative relationships with key stakeholders, external providers, and other agencies.
• Task Management: Responsible for the completion of assigned tasks to budget and programme.
• Documentation: Prepare reports, drawings, schedules, cost estimates, and other documents.
• Support: Assist senior members with monthly programme and financial reporting.
