Job Description:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Buyer who will join an iconic British manufacturer organisation. The successful candidate will support with purchasing activities, supplier management, and procurement administration across various engineering related purchasing and supply-chain projects.

The Junior Buyer will:

  • Support the purchasing function and other departments by identifying and communicating any supply issues that may affect projects.
  • Act as a key contact for internal stakeholders to resolve issues around price, quality, delivery, or invoicing, escalating when necessary.
  • Collaborate with team members to identify opportunities for continuous improvement within purchasing.
  • Evaluate supplier performance on quality, cost, and delivery, escalating concerns as needed.
  • Assist in the creation of Management Information Systems (MIS) reports.

The Junior Buyer will have:

  • Degree / Diploma in Engineering related subject is essential.
  • Manufacturing or Engineering experience (Preferred)
  • Ability to work well under pressure and within a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
  • High attention to detail with excellent organisational abilities.
