Job Description:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Buyer who will join an iconic British manufacturing organization. The successful candidate will support purchasing activities, supplier management, and procurement administration across various engineering-related projects.

The Junior Buyer will:

• Support the purchasing function and other departments by identifying and communicating supply issues that may affect projects.
• Act as a key contact for internal stakeholders to resolve issues around price, quality, delivery, or invoicing, escalating when necessary.
• Collaborate with team members to identify opportunities for continuous improvement within purchasing.
• Evaluate supplier performance on quality, cost, and delivery, escalating concerns as needed.
• Assist in creating Management Information Systems (MIS) reports.

The Junior Buyer will have:

• A Degree/Diploma in an engineering-related subject is essential.
• Manufacturing or engineering experience (preferred).
• Ability to work well under pressure and within a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
• High attention to detail with excellent organizational abilities.
