Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is seeking a Junior Buyer (Electronics) in Glasgow to source, negotiate and purchase electronic components and related materials.

You will join a small buying team, shadow the Senior Buyer, and receive specialist on-the-job training. The role offers training, progression, overtime opportunities and a company bonus with flexitime.

Junior Buyer (Electronics)

Are you a Buyer from a manufacturing / electronics background looking to join a role with a global semiconductor specialist offering industry training and shadowing to upskill, a bi-annual bonus to boost your income and real progression within their growing Buying team?

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a global Electronics Manufacturing and Engineering specialising in semiconductors and test solution. They have seen rapis growth since their establishment, now having offices in Europe, USA and Aisa and are looking for a Junior Buyer to join their Senior Buyer at their Glasgow office.

In this role you will be supporting production continuity by resourcing, negotiating and purchasing goods used to manufacture their specialist products. You will be buying electronic components, PCB assemblies, mechanical parts, tooling and subcontract services. You will work in a tight-knit team being shadowed by the Senior Buying, gaining specialist experience.

This role would suit a Junior buyer with experience within a manufacturing industry looking to join a global titan in Electronics while offering a family run feel within a tight-knit team.

The Role:

• Sourcing, negotiating and buying electronic materials
• Specialist training on industry specific equipment and price
• Working as a team of 2 with the Senior Buyer

• Buyer with experience within manufacturing or electronics
