Job description
We are currently looking for a Junior Buyer/Buyer to join our client's existing team working on a major construction project in the West Yorkshire region.
Our client is a Tier 1 contractor and is looking to expand the size of their procurement team due to the increase of activity on this major, long-running scheme.
We are seeking an individual that has some experience (ideally 3 or 4+ years) of procurement experience within the construction industry (civil engineering experience would be an advantage but is not essential) and that is looking for a new exciting challenge.
The majority of the work is transactional buying with some project-based works with a view to learning more and developing as the scheme progresses.
This is a unique and exciting opportunity to join one of the leading construction companies in the UK working on a major infrastructure scheme.
