Junior Buyer (Manufacturing)

Location: Stourbridge

Salary: £26,000 to £30,000 DOE + 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays + Pension

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 Hours (08:30 to 16:30)

ARE YOU CURRENTLY WORKING IN A BUYER, PURCHASING OR PROCUREMENT POSITION? DO YOU HAVE EXPERIENCE WORKING WITHIN A FAST PACED MANUFACTURING ENVIRONMENT?

Junior Buyer required for a successful manufacturer who is a brand associated with quality and boasts an impressive client base. This is a new role due to ongoing and sustained growth.

The role would suit candidates from any buying, purchasing, or procurement background who have experience working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Applicants must have experience using SAGE 50 and be proficient with all Microsoft Office Packages.

Responsibilities:

  1. Support project managers with all purchasing, procurement, and buying activities.
  2. Process and raise purchase orders using SAGE 50.
  3. Manage multiple projects simultaneously from initial order through to delivery.
  4. Liaise with customers and suppliers throughout projects.
  5. Conduct research and resourcing to deliver specific client requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

  1. Can transfer from ANY purchasing, procurement, or buyer background.
  2. Ideally have previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
  3. Must have experience using SAGE 50.
  4. Must be proficient in all Microsoft Office packages.
