The Role:

1. Manage product enquiries from internal and external customers regarding profit availability.
2. Research product enquiries using databases, websites, and data to identify country availability, considering requested brands and alternatives.
3. Coordinate with buyers to obtain pricing and availability information.
4. Respond to enquiries by collating responses.
5. Maintain databases and spreadsheets related to queries.
6. Own all enquiries from start to finish for designated customers.
7. Manage costs and payment terms with suppliers to secure the best terms.
8. Obtain quotes and research options for new product requests.
9. Build and nurture supplier relationships for optimal outcomes.
10. Place purchase orders following stock policies.
11. Manage outstanding orders and shipments.
12. Analyze data related to stock and lead times, resolving issues proactively.
13. Review cost prices regularly to maximize profitability.
14. Source new products through the Product Research process.
15. Resolve order discrepancies with Finance or Quality teams.
16. Manage supplier performance in quality, cost, and delivery.

The Person:
