Elevation Recruitment Group are proud to be supporting a major UK manufacturer in Pinxton who are seeking a motivated Junior Buyer to join their purchasing team.

The ideal candidate will assist in managing procurement activities, ensuring the efficient sourcing of materials and services. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career in purchasing within a dynamic and supportive environment.

Junior Buyer Duties:

• Ensure stock availability aligns with the production schedule
• Build and maintain effective working relationships with both internal teams and external stakeholders
• Identify and engage with new suppliers
• Identify and recommend cost-saving opportunities
• Negotiate pricing with suppliers
• Manage and conduct tendering processes
• Prepare and maintain stock reports
• Raise purchase orders in a timely manner
• Assist the Senior Buyer in procuring raw materials
• Collaborate with internal departments, including Planning and Sales
• Monitor and assess supplier performance
• Review and streamline the supplier base

Hours: Full time Monday – Friday

• 31 days annual leave (including bank holidays)
