Due to continued success at boohooMAN, we are looking for a Junior Buyer to manage part of our fast fashion Jersey offering. We look for passion, agility, and pace in our teams. Our Buying teams work on high-volume, fast-moving categories, collaborating with a range of suppliers globally.

Roles at Junior Buyer and Buyer levels are autonomous and rewarding. Our unique test-and-repeat model makes us stand out and allows us to react quickly when bringing products to market.

At the Junior Buyer level, you will report to the Senior Buyer. You will work closely with peers in Design and Merchandising, manage open-to-buy, and undertake trips to Europe & Far East.

We are open to candidates from MENS or WOMENS fast fashion backgrounds, with experience ranging from streetwear to casual and active/sportswear.

YOUR TEAM

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

1. Undertake product development and develop propositions as the business grows.
2. Ensure propositions support international growth and understand requirements of new territories.
3. Collaborate with the Senior Leadership team to influence strategic plans and developments.
4. Communicate effectively with junior, assistant, and trainee buyers across departments.
5. Monitor stock coverage on individual lines.
6. Report key information during trading meetings to Heads and Directors.
7. Contribute ideas for promotions and markdown strategies to impact the business.
8. Manage stock levels according to KPIs and open-to-buy plans.
9. Respond to competitor analysis insights.
10. Complete buying trips within the UK and internationally as needed.
11. Liaise with marketing and eCommerce teams to maximize sales through the website and align with overall strategy.

• Experience mentoring junior team members.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills at all levels.
• Ability to work independently.
• Willingness to travel as required.
