Business Analyst – Compliance & Operations

London (Hybrid – 3 days onsite) - 6 months (possibility of extension to maximum tenure)

Hourly rate: £26-32 (40hrs per week)

We’re partnering with a global technology leader at the forefront of innovation to find a proactive Business Analyst to join their compliance, operations, and data analytics team. This role is ideal for a self-starter who thrives on optimising processes, driving improvements, and ensuring operational excellence.

What you’ll do:

• Analyse asset data, identify opportunities for improvement, and drive system enhancements.
• Map, document, and optimise business processes and workflows.
• Create clear and comprehensive SOPs, work instructions, and process documentation.
• Gather and analyse data from multiple sources, simplifying and presenting findings effectively.
• Drive automation initiatives to improve efficiency in repetitive tasks.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to design, test, and implement effective solutions.
• Support supplier chain compliance activities and ensure data integrity.

What we’re looking for:

• 2-4 years of experience as BA.
• Strong skills in Excel (pivot tables, data analysis).
• Proven process mapping and project management experience.
• Excellent documentation skills, able to articulate business problems and justifications clearly.
• Experience in compliance, privacy, or data regulations in Europe.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and the initiative to find and fix process gaps.
• Confident communicator, able to work independently and manage competing priorities.

Preferred background:

• Bachelor’s degree in business management, economics, finance, accounting, or a related field.
• Previous experience in engineering or financial analytics industries.
• Familiarity with enterprise applications, Visio, and process flow design tools.
