Howden is seeking a Junior Broker to support healthcare business across US and non-US markets, helping place risks with insurers and negotiate terms. You will assist with submissions, queries, and client handling while developing market relationships.

You’ll work in a collaborative London team, building underwriter relationships, managing records, and ensuring regulatory compliance as you grow industry knowledge.

• Experience in a similar or related role within the insurance market.
• Strong relationships with underwriters and market contacts.
• Knowledge of specific products and relevant regulatory/legal frameworks.

Responsabilités

• Manage written and paid bordereaux from cover holders.
• Reconcile written and paid premiums.
• Chase any late payments, discrepancies or queries to ensure underwriters are paid in full on time.
• Support the team in preparing and reviewing submissions to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Collaborate with account handlers to develop appropriate solutions tailored to clients’ needs.
• Assist in negotiating with underwriters to secure optimal insurance terms.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records on company systems.
• Follow compliance procedures, including securing necessary approvals and maintaining client files.
