Job Title: Junior Bridging Finance Underwriter (Mandarin is plus)
Location: Surrey
Job Type: Hybrid working (4 days in-office, Fridays WFH).
Salary: 30,000-45,000
Key Responsibilities:
1 Process & Assess – Evaluate new bridging loan applications and conduct credit analysis.
2 Credit Proposals – Prepare detailed submissions for Credit Committee approval.
3 Loan Documentation – Draft offer letters and ensure compliance during drawdown.
4 Underwriting – Review and approve loans based on set criteria.
5 Broker & Client Management – Handle case-related queries and manage expectations.
6 Stakeholder Coordination – Work with internal teams (Legal, Risk, Sales) and external partners (surveyors, solicitors, clients) for seamless loan execution.
7 Industry Experience Required – Must have proven background in bridging and/or development finance.
Key Requirements:
* Essential: Minimum 3 years’ experience in bridging and/or development finance related lending.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess deals based on market, asset type, and security.
* Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
* Outstanding written and verbal communication.
