A regional healthcare provider based in Chester is looking for a caring and enthusiastic nurse to join their Breast Unit for a 12-month position covering maternity leave. You will manage a patient caseload, provide support through diagnosis, and deliver care in nurse-led clinics. An exciting opportunity has become available within the Breast Unit at The Countess of Chester Hospital.
We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic, motivated team player who is seeking a new challenge. The post holder will be a key worker for a patient caseload, providing support through diagnosis and treatment, coordinating care, and working independently as part of the Breast team. This is a 12-month position to cover maternity leave.
The post involves undertaking nurse-led clinics, telephone advice, and results clinics. The post holder will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate evidence-based nursing care programs. They will provide specialist advice, support, and clinical practice for patients, relatives, and healthcare professionals.
Collaboration with clinical colleagues to develop services and uphold high standards of care is essential. The ideal candidate will demonstrate good communication and organizational skills, be caring, motivated, and proactive in developing their role to meet service needs.
